Only some of the games were open, the rest had “out of order” signs which I assume is due to covid. Just gonna rely on my immune system I guess. We are living in a pandemic so this bothered me (especially since I’m a nurse) but I figured we were staying in a cheap room so i just said whatever. There was a ring of liquid from someone’s drink on the bed stand so clearly no one had wiped it down since the last guest. Basic with no frills but the beds were comfy and the sheets were clean and pressed. We just let it go and ignored her coldness towards us. I’ve worked as a hotel front desk employee before so I know what goes on behind the scenes. Just a straight up “no.” No apology and no explanation. When we checked in, my husband asked if we could be on the first floor for our dog (he is a puppy and likes to run around and we didn’t wanna bother anyone below us). We have always wanted a little getaway to mesquite, and we thought this hotel/casino would be a good place to sleep, especially since we have our golden retriever with us and they are dog friendly.
